AgiBot launches Genie Studio 2.0 with a 7-day deployment claim; its timed Changzhou project took 14

AgiBot released Genie Studio 2.0 on Oct 23, an embodied AI operations platform with Flywheel, Agent and Monitor modules. The company says it can validate a new robot scenario in as few as 7 days; the Changzhou CNC project it timed took 14.

AgiBot released Genie Studio 2.0 on Oct 23, the second of seven "AI WAVE" launches. The company calls it a one-stop, full-process embodied AI operations platform that can take a new work scenario from zero to validated deployment in as few as 7 days.

The 7-day figure is a best case. The one project AgiBot timed, loading and unloading six CNC machine tools in Changzhou with robots and automated guided vehicles, took 14 days from requirements to production-line validation. AgiBot's pitch is that deployment is the bottleneck once a model works: robots still have to recognize the materials on site, connect to production equipment and handle anomalies. Genie Studio 2.0 splits that work into three modules. Flywheel covers data collection, training and simulation testing, including vision-language-action models, and feeds failure data back into retraining. Agent builds task flows from drag-and-drop blocks. Monitor handles fleet status, scheduling and remote intervention.

The counterweight is the template. AgiBot saved the Changzhou setup as a reusable project template for similar lines, and on a GP Intelligent BMS assembly pilot, three AgiBot G2 robots held a task success rate above 99.9% through 7x24-hour production validation, the company says. If AgiBot publishes how long its other deployments took, the 7-day figure can be checked against more than one project.

Will the next production line built from the Changzhou template get close to 7 days, or take as long as the first?

Gemini 4 Argon scores 87% on embodied reasoning but takes 52 minutes per real-arm task

Google made Gemini 4 Argon globally available on Oct 13 and grouped its robotics uses into robot control, Real2Sim, physical understanding, and research and self-improvement. Artificial Analysis's AA-Robotics v0.1 scored Argon 55.3 out of 100 driving a real arm on eight tabletop tasks, about 100 times slower than a person, while Physical Intelligence opened an API beta the same day for fine-tuning its π0 and π0.5 models on Pi's infrastructure.
