Hyundai Mobis starts Atlas actuator prototypes in November and expects supply in 2028
Hyundai Mobis will build prototype joint actuators for Boston Dynamics' Atlas from November and expects to supply them in 2028, it said on its third-quarter call. That leaves about 14 months between first prototypes and the end-2027 date by which Boston Dynamics reportedly wants parts for 10,000 robots, and Mobis is already lining up other humanoid customers.
