About 15 people joined an App Drivers and Couriers Union protest outside Wayve's London office on Oct 17 against robotaxi trials, as a London Assembly committee asked for TfL to gain permit powers over driverless services. Under current rules the Department for Transport would issue permits and TfL can only grant or refuse consent.
