Google DeepMind is building a Watertown robotics lab to house a new hardware team
Google DeepMind told the Boston Globe it is constructing a robotics lab in Watertown, Mass., at the Arsenal on the Charles building at 200 Talcott Ave., where Google signed a 35,000-square-foot lease earlier this summer. Aaron Saunders, a 22-year Boston Dynamics veteran hired in 2025 to lead DeepMind hardware, says the lab will house a new hardware team, recruit machinists and engineers, and finish construction in 2027.
