CASBOT raises A++ round as shoemaking robot orders pass 400 million yuan
CASBOT said on Oct 26, 2026 that it had closed an A++ round of several hundred million yuan, with Zhilai Investment, Yonghua Capital, Maotian Investment, Yuanhe Chenkun, Guoke Kezhi and Luning Investment taking part. The company says its 2026 shoemaking-robot orders exceed 400 million yuan, scheduled in the thousands of units, after its first robot entered a Putian shoe plant in August 2025.
CASBOT, the brand of Beijing Zhongke Huiling Robot Technology, said on Oct 26 that it had closed an A++ round of several hundred million yuan. The money follows a shoe factory: the company says it holds more than 400 million yuan of 2026 orders for shoemaking robots, scheduled at the scale of several thousand units. Zhilai Investment, Yonghua Capital, Maotian Investment, Yuanhe Chenkun, Guoke Kezhi and Luning Investment took part. CASBOT said the funds go first to mass-production delivery, then to research on its embodied AI "brain" for key scenarios and to market expansion.
CASBOT was founded in 2023 and incubated by the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Its first shoemaking robot entered a leading footwear company's Putian plant in August 2025 for insole stamping, and in 2025 it won orders worth tens of millions of yuan from several leading shoemakers. Its CASBOT PA model trains on a single consumer-grade GPU and is being validated at the plant. In tests, outsole stamping reached 7 seconds per piece and sole pressing 18 seconds per pair. In June 2025 CASBOT raised nearly 100 million yuan in an A round led by Lens Technology.
The 50% to 70% annual return and under-two-year payback are CASBOT's own estimates from existing projects, and at the Putian plant the model runs on robot arms, not humanoids.
