AgiBot launches Genie G2 Max with 20 kg per arm and 50 kg peak
AgiBot launched the Genie G2 Max on Oct 26, 2026, rated at 20 kg per arm, 40 kg with both arms and 50 kg peak. AgiBot says it already depalletizes in JD Logistics' Zhilang warehouse and moves joint parts on the Qiyuan T1 production line.
AgiBot launched the Genie G2 Max on Oct 26, during its AI WAVE release week: a safety-rated heavy-payload embodied AI robot for depalletizing, palletizing, material transfer and line feeding. JD Logistics and AgiBot first showed the machine at WAIC on July 17, and the coverage then carried no payload figures. Now rated at 20 kg per arm, 40 kg across both and 50 kg peak, it is pitched less on payload than on fitting into factories that already exist.
Arm repeatability is within ±0.5 mm, and AgiBot says the robot covers handling needs for more than 95% of industrial totes and parts on the market. The 7-degree-of-freedom arms use force control and vision guidance, and a waist pitch joint lets the robot lean forward so a pallet can sit against a wall with no 1.5 m walkway behind it. It runs Genie Studio 2.0 for task orchestration and fleet operations, and AgiBot says adapting a site takes days.
In JD's Zhilang goods-to-person warehouse, AgiBot says the robot depalletizes 80 cases an hour and palletizes 75, with an overall success rate above 99%. Those figures are the company's own, from one e-commerce warehouse. AgiBot gave no price or shipment volume.
On the Qiyuan T1 line at Huguang's robot factory, G2 Max carries shoulder joint housings and hip joint assemblies from the stock area to final assembly stations, matching a takt of one robot every 2.5 minutes.
